Barely put a foot wrong despite picking up an early booking.
Marshalled the Gers defence well and took the captain’s armband after Bruno Alves threw the towel in after quarter of an hour.
Another display from the former Hearts and Liverpool defender that will strengthen calls for him to be given a new deal at Ibrox.
Never looked too troubled against Celtic’s forwards and the Gers kept a well deserved clean sheet.
