Even though he scored, Windass looked like a lost puppy at times – just where on Earth was he meant to be playing?
It’s either Murty’s tactics not getting through with the attacking midfielder or he just finds it hard to follow instructions because Windass was all over the shop – and not in a good way.
His passing was lapse and positioning was just as poor. His poor playmaking meant that the strikers had to come much deeper to find the ball.
Windass’ rating would have been a lot lower if he didn’t bag an important goal.
