Rangers player ratings v Fraserburgh: Starting trio 5/10 in comfortable win

Josh Windass – 8

Rangers
Windass’ rating is inflated by the fact he scored a hat-trick because at times he was poor.
When he tried to get forward and put teams under pressure he looked dangerous – and was rewarded with three really well taken goals – but too often he looked for the safe option and was happy to play in front of Fraserburgh’s defence.
All three goals were really good finishes and Windass deserves a lot of credit for them but the 24-year-old will know himself he wasn’t at his best against the Highland League minnows.
With added competition for places following the January transfer window, Windass will be delighted to have bagged his first senior hat-trick and will hope to build some momentum from it.
