Alnwick continued in goal for the Gers in cup competitions after playing in the League Cup ahead of Wes Foderingham earlier in the season.
The former Port Vale keeper didn’t look comfortable at all in the fairly spartan surroundings of Bellslea Park and struggled with his distribution all night.
Kept a clean sheet after being forced into action a couple of times but never really looked like conceding against the Highlad League side.
Will now go back to sitting on the bench until the Gers travel to Somerset Park to face Ayr United in the fifth round.
