Attacker moved back into the number 10 role and played some fantastic balls forward as the Gers looked to pick up the three points.
After scoring a hat-trick in midweek, Windass appeared full of confidence in the first-half as the Gers faced up to a battle with Hibs but faded badly after the break.
Windass really needs to improve if he is going to continue keeping the likes of Docherty or Cummings out of the starting XI.
