Bates dealt with pretty much everything thrown at him in the opening 45 as he renewed his partnership alongside Martin at the heart of defence.
Used the ball much better than he did against Fraserburgh.
Not much he could have done at either goal and put in a solid enough performance despite the scoreline.
Will likely continue alongside Martin on Tuesday when the Gers face Partick Thistle.
