Returned to the starting XI after missing the Scottish Cup win over Fraserburgh following a family bereavement.
Former Norwich skipper looked fairly comfortable as he and Bates coped with almost everything Hibs threw at them.
Decent enough performance and never really troubled too much by Hibs despite the scoreline.
32-year-old should be a big player for Rangers until the end of the season.
