A goal and man-of-the-match performance from the defender on his birthday will have left Graeme Murty delighted.
Wilson looked much more composed alongside Alves than he hid beside David Bates at the weekend and took his goal well.
A number of brilliant passes showed the former Liverpool youngster’s range of passing and was rarely troubled by Well’s strikers.
Will need to be on top form on Saturday when the Gers take on Celtic before the winter break.
