Cardoso has shown signs that he’s a good defender.
He hasn’t shown them regularly enough however and it could now cost the Portuguese defender his place in the side.
Actually looked better alongside rookie Ross McCrorie than he has beside veteran Bruno Alves, Cardoso has missed Rangers last few games after suffering a broken nose against Motherwell in the Scottish League Cup semi-final.
Still only young and can certainly improve but the 23-year-old is another who needs to be more consistent in the short-term.
