
Sources: Rangers register interest in signing Dimitar Mitov
Rangers are keeping tabs on Cambridge United goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov, sources have told Football Insider.
The Glasgow giants are considering their options between the sticks and have registered their interest in the Bulgarian, 25.
Mitov has impressed for League One Cambridge in the last few seasons and was man of the match in their famous FA Cup win over Newcastle last season.

The former Bulgaria youth international is out of contract at Abbey Stadium at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
He kept a clean sheet in the Us’ 1-0 win over MK Dons in their League One season opener last Saturday (30 July).
As quoted by club media on Thursday (4 August), Mitov claimed he was “happy to be” at Cambridge.
He joined the club from Charlton Athletic in 2017 and has gone on to make 133 appearances in total.
Mitov was part of the side that won promotion from League Two in 2020-21.
Jon McLaughlin has started Rangers’ opening two matches this season in goal, including the 2-0 Champions League defeat to Union Saint-Gilloise on Tuesday (2 August).
The 34-year-old deputized for Ibrox legend Allan McGregor for the bulk of 2021-22.
McGregor, who will turn 41 in January, is out of contract at the end of the current campaign.
