
Rangers player ratings v St Johnstone – Midfielder is a move ahead of all his teammates

Rangers eased past St. Johnstone 3-0 in Friday night’s Scottish Premiership clash to close the gap to leaders Celtic and Aberdeen to three points.
The Gers comfortably eased past Tommy Wright’s side after a double from Carlos Pena and a goal from GRaham Dorrans.
Pedro Caixinha’s side put in a really impressive performance ahead of next weekend’s Scottish League Cup semi-final at Hampden against Motherwell.
Bruno Alves and Jason Holt came into the side for Ross McCrorie and Ryan Jack as the Gers continued Caixinha’s record of having yet to lose an away league game since taking charge in March.
Carlos Pena put in a fantastic performance for the Gers and showed real signs of quality after his summer move from Mexican’s Chivas Guadalajara.
The win gives the Light Blues a three-point lead over St. Johnstone in third place in the table.
