'Unacceptable' – Rangers star reveals major ambitions for remainder of the season

Rangers striker Kenny Miller insists the Gers are targeting finishing “at least” second in the Scottish Premiership and to win the Scottish Cup – despite their stop-start form so far.
The Gers are currently third in the table and face a trip to League One high-flyers Ayr United in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup on Sunday.
Murty’s side have dropped silly points since the former Scotland international replaced Pedro Caixinha in October which has seen them overtake and then fall back behind Aberdeen on a number of occasions.
Miller insists the Gers must aim to lift the Scottish Cup – claiming to do otherwise would be “unacceptable” – while wanting to take second in the table from the Dons.
“The goals of this squad are to finish the league season as strongly as (possible), definitely at least in the second position,” Miller said as quoted by the Gers’ official Twitter account.
“The aim for anything less than winning the cup at this club would be unacceptable. We have to aim to win it”

Miller has made18 appearances for the Gers so far this season, scoring four times and creating a further four assists, but has been sidelined since December with a hamstring injury.
The 38-year-old could come back into the side when the Gers travel to face Ayr on Sunday as he looks to regain sharpness after two months out.
Miller’s current Ibrox deal is up at the end of the season with the veteran giving no suggestion he intends to hang up his boots quite yet.
