Rangers surely regret missing out on ‘lethal’ target after what Bojan Miovski has done at Ibrox
Bojan Miovski has not experienced the fairytale return to the Scottish Premiership that many Rangers fans were expecting this season.
After 14 games back in Scotland, two seasons after leaving Aberdeen for La Liga side Girona, the North Macedonian international has just two goals to his name, and a whole lot of pressure.
Danny Rohl has been more impressed with Youssef Chermiti, who only has one more goal contribution than his striker partner, but the 21-year-old’s stats suggest more is coming at Ibrox.
Football Insider understands that Rangers plan to keep Chermiti in January, and understandably so, because the current manager has very few options to lead the line for the rest of 2025-26.

Rangers in desperate need of a goal-scoring striker
Cyriel Dessers and Hamza Igamane were both sold during the summer, both of whom have made positive starts to life at their respective new clubs, leaving the Gers without a solid centre-forward option.
According to FBref, compared to forwards in the top-five European leagues, Miovski ranks in the bottom 1st percentile for shots, 1st percentile for shot-creating actions, and the 3rd percentile for touches in the attacking penalty area.
To put it brutally, Miovski’s arrival at Ibrox has been utterly disappointing, and the Light Blues might be regretting some of their summer choices after missing out on several other tactics.
According to The Scottish Sun (July 2025), Dor Turgeman has been a name consistently on Rangers’ radar, but that also goes for multiple clubs across Europe, including Leeds United.
Failed deal for Dor Turgeman is now haunting Ibrox
In his final two full seasons with Maccabi Tel Aviv, Turgeman, who has been labelled “lethal” by Four Lads Had A Dream’s Kai Watson, notched 31 goals and eight assists in 96 appearances.
The Israeli international has now made the move to MLS side New England Revolution, where he has netted three times in three games, also adding an assist to his record.
Fans were in no doubt that the 22-year-old would have made an instant impact in the Scottish Premiership, and given his youth, he had years to give, rather than Miovski, who is slightly older.
Those in charge of transfers at Ibrox already have several questions to answer, and if the Gers continue to struggle in the final third, this will just be another query that is fired at those behind the scenes.
