Signed on a season-long loan deal from Portuguese giants Benfica, Dalcio made his Rangers debut against Progres Niederkorn in the Europa League.
The young winger struggled with the pace and physicality of the two games and hasn’t been seen since in a Rangers jersey. While it’s still early in the season, it’s difficult to see Dalcio salvaging anything from his loan spell in Glasgow.
With Josh Windass, Aaron Nemane, Declan John and probably Niko Kranjcar all ahead of him in the queue for a starting place, Dalcio might see more game time in Graeme Murty’s Under-20s squad than the first team this season.
