Rangers news: ‘Time is running out’ for Aaron Ramsey as allies jet into Glasgow – McLeish
Time is “running out” for on-loan superstar Aaron Ramsey to prove his worth to Rangers.
That is the view of ex-Ibrox boss Alex McLeish, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 31-year-old’s future in Glasgow.
The Welshman, who has been sidelined for the last four matches with a calf issue, has played just 95 minutes since his arrival from Juventus in January.

Gers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst admitted there is no “clear timeline” on when he might return, as per the Glasgow Times on Tuesday (1 March).
The Scottish Sun reported on Thursday (3 March) that Ramsey has now flown in his own trusted physios at a personal cost of £30,000.
But McLeish claims that the clock is ticking on the midfielder’s bid for fitness as the end of the season comes into sharper focus.
“For Rangers fans, it’s been very frustrating,” he told Football Insider‘s Adam Williams.
“Now, the internet goes mental and everyone goes into a fever pitch, thinking there is something underlying.
“It would be great for him to get back into the team. If there is an underlying issue, I’m sure at some point it will come out in the press.
“If it’s just a case of getting of reaching a certain level, that’s a mindset thing.
“When he got Wales to the semi-finals at the Euros a few years ago, I put him in the world class bracket.
“Everyone was flabbergasted when he came to Rangers but we have to see him ASAP. Time is running out and he needs to get cracking.”

Ramsey made just five appearances for Juve before his mid-season Ibrox switch.
The Welshman has 71 caps for his country.
