Rangers tipped to accept Aribo offer after source’s £10m+ reveal – Whelan
Noel Whelan has insisted Rangers are likely to accept a big-money Joe Aribo next summer rather than in January.
The former Leeds striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the 25-year-old could become a key part of the rebuilding process with would-be suitors Crystal Palace.
A Rangers source has told Football Insider that the club will demand a £10million-plus transfer fee for Joe Aribo in January.

This site also revealed last week that Crystal Palace are interested in the midfielder and are monitoring his situation at Ibrox.
The south London club sees Aribo as a potential replacement for loanee Conor Gallagher once he returns to parent club Chelsea at the end of the season.
The Nigeria international’s contract at Ibrox expires in 2023.
The former Charlton star has scored two goals in 16 games across all competitions this season.
Whelan insisted “good player” Aribo could depart next summer if Patrick Viera’s side move to make him part of the “new Palace”.
“Palace are rebuilding and we can see their blueprint,” he told Football Insider‘s Ewan Kingsbury.
“A lot of their older statesmen have gone, they’re building for the future now.
“I’m sure they’re looking all over Britain and all over Europe for these younger players who can come in and become part of the new Palace and give them some longevity over four or five seasons.
“He’s a good player – good players are always going to have interest.
“I think if Rangers do come to think about selling him, it won’t be until the end of the season.”

Aribo joined Rangers in 2019 after the expiry of his contract at Charlton.
He has made 107 appearances for the Glasgow club, scoring 19 goals and contributing 17 assists.
