Rangers tipped to accept Borna Barisic offer after Nottingham Forest reveal – ‘money talks,’ says expert
Michael Beale won’t want to lose Borna Barisic from his Rangers squad this summer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Gers defender Alan Hutton said that the club’s head could be turned by a big offer.
Barisic has entered the final year of his Ibrox contract and Nottingham Forest are reportedly eyeing up a move for the left-back.
Former Gers sporting director Ross Wilson is said to be preparing to raid the Ibrox club in a bid to solve Forest’s left-back problems.
It is believed that Beale’s side could command around £2million for the Croatian if they sell this summer.
Hutton suggested the Gers will seriously consider a decent offer for their first-choice left-back.
“I think if you play at a level where he is playing at there is going to be teams sniffing about,” he told Football Insider.
“We have always spoken about the lure of the English Premier League, it is difficult to turn down especially with the money that is there.

“I liked the way left-back was looking going in to this season. Yilmaz has come on to a game and I think he is going to push Barisic this season so it will be really good competition there.
“I do not think Michael Beale will want to lose him but money talks at the end of the day so if an offer comes in that they deem worth they will look at it and if he does go they will have to bring somebody else in.“
