Rangers told to accept ‘£3m’ Ryan Kent offer – ‘take it’, says pundit
Frank McAvennie has claimed Rangers will be lucky to get £5million for Ryan Kent in January.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Celtic striker said the Gers might only get £3m for Kent.
The 26-year-old has just six months left on his Ibrox contract and is free to begin pre-contract negotiations with other clubs.

Michael Beale has spoken of his desire to tie down the winger to a new long-term contract with the Glasgow giants but a deal is yet to be agreed.
On 1 October, this site revealed that Kent has rejected a new ‘big-money’ contract offer as he set his sights on a move to the Premier League.
According to the Daily Mirror, as relayed by the Sun (23 December), Southampton boss Nathan Jones is targeting a move worth £5million for the forward.
But McAvennie doesn’t think Kent is worth as much as £5m.
“I do not see them getting that,” he told Football Insider.
“Even if they get £3m, they are going to get nothing at the end of the season. So I would take whatever comes in and I would do the same with [Alfredo] Morelos.

“The two of them are starting to play well now they have six months left on their contract. They have got a lot of money off Rangers and they have not done them any favours running their contract down.
“I would get rid of them in the January window, especially if Rangers want to bring players in.“
In other news, according to Kieran Maguire, Rangers have finally secured long-term target amid £45m Douglas Park reveal.
