Rangers transfer news: Cedric Itten set to leave after source’s update – Hutton
Alan Hutton has claimed Rangers flop Cedric Itten will be moving on to “pastures new” this summer.
The former Gers defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst has made his mind up on the 25-year-old’s Ibrox future.
This site revealed on Monday (21 March) that Rangers will listen to offers for Itten this summer.

An Ibrox source has told Football Insider that the club are open to a loan or permanent exit.
Itten spent the first part of this season on loan at Bundesliga club Greuther Furth but was recalled on 12 January.
However, the former Basel man has played just twice since his return and has not made a matchday squad since mid-February.
When asked if he had seen enough from Itten to warrant a place in the Rangers squad, Hutton told Football Insider‘s Russell Edge: “It’s more what we haven’t seen from him.
“He came back into the fold but hasn’t been involved a lot under the new manager. You just think that maybe he’s had a look at him and thought that the options ahead of him are good enough.
“There’s no space for him in the matchday squads – which can be difficult when you have to leave players out.
“I do feel for him that way.
“But the bigger picture is that it hasn’t worked out for him, and that can be how it works out – sometimes it doesn’t run smoothly.
“In the summer he needs to be thinking about his future and playing football. You’d think that he’ll be moving on to pastures new.”

Itten joined Rangers for a reported £2.7million in 2020.
He has netted just seven goals in 47 games for the club.
