Rangers TV pundit issues emphatic Cameron Bell prediction after confirmed news
Alan Hutton has suggested Cameron Bell could find a place in the Rangers first team sooner than expected.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Gers defender said the 16-year-old has the chance to impress the manager during pre-season.
On Sunday (July 3), Rangers confirmed the signing of Cameron Bell into their youth academy.
The Scotland youth international joins Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side from Everton.
Bell will be part of the Ibrox club’s under-18 team.
When asked for his assessment of the latest, Hutton told Football Insider: “You look at Zak Lovelace coming in as well.
“They’re obviously really young, they’ve got the potential there to go and develop.
“They want to make it into the first team. They come with that ambition and hunger that they want to make it to the Rangers first team.
“So it’s all these young boys coming into the squad they will be away in preseason probably, determined to show the manager what they’re capable of.

“To go into the B team is not a bad thing, they’re playing in the Lowland league it’s good competition for them, it’s the next stage of development and you never know if you go away in pre-season, this is the time to shine and go and prove your worth.
“If you catch the eye of the manager, I think he’s shown in his sort time at the club that he will put youngsters in the team.“
