Rangers TV pundit issues new Aaron Ramsey claim after what he’s ‘heard’ from dressing room
Alan Hutton has suggested the Rangers squad have “raised the bar” in training since Aaron Ramsey’s arrival at Auchenhowie.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gers defender and Rangers TV pundit revealed what he has “heard” about the 31-year-old’s impact behind closed doors.
Ramsey has struggled for fitness since joining the Light Blues and is currently out injured.
He is on loan from Juventus until the end of the season.
Hutton, who still has close ties to the Ibrox dressing room, revealed Ramsey’s elite “mentality” is already having an impact on the training ground.
He suggested other players are now lifting their game to match their new teammate’s standards.
Asked what he’s heard about Ramsey behind the scenes, Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “I’ve heard little bits.
“Obviously his whole mentality, the way he is a player, he’s played at big clubs that are going to win things.
“I think the bar for yourself, you raise it when these players walk into the building. They expect a certain amount of talent to be out there on the pitch.
“You have to show it. I think he’s raised that bar. Everybody knows how much of a talented player he is and they want to get to that level.
“It’s things like that, just little things, that make the squad better.”

Ramsey has only started once in four appearances for Rangers since his temporary switch.
He played just five times for Juventus during the first half of the season.
In other news, pundit “feels sorry” for another Rangers star after footage emerges.
