Rangers TV pundit raises ‘million-dollar question’ over Aaron Ramsey after Ibrox latest
Alan Hutton has admitted there is still a major “question mark” over whether Aaron Ramsey can get back to full fitness at Rangers.
The former Gers defender and Rangers TV pundit, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted there is “no point risking” the 31-year-old after his injury issues despite his need for game time.
As confirmed by Giovanni van Bronckhorst today (9 March), Ramsey will be included in the squad against Red Star Belgrade but will not be starting.

The Wales international was also named on the bench against Aberdeen on Saturday but was left unused in the 1-0 win.
With just four appearances under his belt so far, Hutton admitted doubts over Ramsey’s fitness remain.
Asked if he thought Ramsey could reach the required levels with his current lack of game time, Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “Well, that’s the million-dollar question.
“I think it was always the one that was over his head from the moment he signed. Is he going to be fit enough, can he last 90 minutes, can he play week in, week out? That question mark is still there.
“You understand why people are questioning it. Everybody was the exact same. The only thing I can think of, from a player’s point of view, is he’s had a niggle.
“He’s been put on the bench, he’s fit enough to be in the matchday squad.
“But there’s no point in risking him you don’t have to. That’s how I would look at it.
“If Rangers were up 3-0 or 4-0, get him on. Get him 15, 20 minutes he might need and then move on.

“The game was so close, they had to get something out of it. There was maybe no point in risking him in that fixture. It’s a bit of cat and mouse.
“His body will tell him how it is and he’ll have to take it from there.”
In other news, pundit claims Van Bronckhorst “knows” Rangers star unhappy at Ibrox.
