Rangers TV pundit thrilled by ‘crazy’ Connor Goldson training reveal before Celtic showdown
Alan Hutton has insisted the international break could give Rangers a much-needed boost ahead of a “massive” month of fixtures.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gers defender and Rangers TV pundit admitted the Light Blues have some “incredible” games next month, starting with the Old Firm clash against Celtic.
Speaking to Rangers TV on Sunday (20 March), Goldson revealed the Ibrox squad are to “have a bit of a break” from training during the international window to prepare for a “crazy month”.

The Gers return to action against Celtic at Ibrox on 3 April, while they will face the Hoops in the Scottish Cup semi-final on 17 April.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s men also have both legs (7 and 14 April) of their Europa League quarter-final against Braga to play.
Hutton insisted a break from games could be exactly what Rangers need to catch Celtic in the league and succeed on other fronts.
Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “April is absolutely massive for Rangers moving forward.
“They’re competing on three fronts so you’re going to need your squad, you’re going to need everybody at a high level.
“I think it’s (the international break) good for them, as long as you take it in the right manner. So long as they don’t go away and go crazy, which I’m sure they won’t.
“They’re all professionals, they know what’s coming up and they’ll look after themselves. If you look after the winter break, the performances have been up and down.
“Obviously the European nights have been unbelievable. Then to try and go back that up, it’s been hard.
“I think it’s a good chance now for them to have a few days to recharge and get your mind focused on what’s about to come. Some of these games are incredible.

“There are not many games left. With the next game being the Old Firm game, you want that momentum, you want the confidence knowing that you’re off the back of a good result.
“They’re going into probably one of the biggest games for a long time concerning the league.”
