Rangers TV pundit: Van Bronckhorst ‘knows’ Kemar Roofe unhappy at Ibrox after dressing room reveal
Alan Hutton has insisted Kemar Roofe will be “frustrated” with his playing time at Rangers after netting the winner over Aberdeen.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gers defender and Rangers TV pundit admitted Giovanni van Bronckhorst will know he has an unhappy player on his books.
As quoted by Football Scotland on Sunday (6 March), Van Bronckhorst revealed he praised Roofe’s patience in the dressing room after scoring the only goal against the Dons on Saturday.

The Gers boss acknowledged it is “not easy” for the Jamaica international, 29, with Alfredo Morelos the first-choice striker.
Hutton suggested the “huge” goal would boost Roofe’s confidence after a frustrating couple of months.
Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “He’ll (Van Bronckhorst) know he’s frustrated, definitely. You can tell. It’s not difficult to see when you’re with someone day in, day out in training.
“He’s not playing games. Van Bronckhorst is pretty settled when it comes to his forward-thinking players. Morelos, with the form that he’s in, is pretty much always going to start.
“Roofe’s had to be patient but whenever he’s been called on, he’s come in and he’s done something. This was a massive three points for Rangers and it was a poor game that I had to sit and watch.
“In the final third they were so poor. He’s come up with the goods, he’s had to bide his time and he’s come up with a huge moment.
“His confidence will rise a little. Now it’s about keeping that consistency level high.”

Roofe has started just seven league games for Rangers this season.
He has scored three goals in nine appearances under Van Bronckhorst, three of which came as starts.
