Rangers strolled to a 3-0 win over St. Johnstone on Friday night in the Scottish Premiership.

A double from Carlos Pena and a goal from Graham Dorrans gave the Gers the three points in a match they dominated.

The win moves the Light Blues to within three points of Celtic and Aberdeen before their respective matches this weekend.

Manager Pedro Caixinha must be happy with the way his side controlled the pace of the game for much of the 90 minutes.

Mexican midfielder put in his best performance for the Ibrox giants since his summer move from Chivas Gudalajara and scored with two well-exectued finishes.

The win was arguably the Gers best performance of the season to-date and will set them up nicely for next weekend’s Scottish League Cup semi-final with Motherwell.
