Rangers will accept £6.9m Alfredo Morelos bid after latest – pundit
Rangers will be unable to refuse an £6.9million offer for Alfredo Morelos, according to Noel Whelan.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aberdeen and Premier League forward claimed Morelos will need to leave Ibrox with a year left on his contract and Rangers could replace him with £6.9million.
Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo reported last week (22 June) that Sevilla have now tabled an €8million (£6.9million) bid for the 26-year-old.

The Colombian has been public about wanting to further his career and Whelan has suggested the issue may come to a head this summer.
He told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “With a year left on his contract, if a player can’t get the move that he wants and it’s been talked about pretty much every season that he wants a move away from Rangers, I think he would probably need that change now.
“At €8million, Rangers can’t really afford to lose that sort of money.
“If that is on the table then it is something they’ve got to consider quite strongly because €8million can go on a brand new striker who will be there for the next four years.
“He’s had good times, he’s broken lots of records, his goalscoring in Europe has been fantastic but at the same time we know he comes with that bit of controversy as well, on the field and off the field.

“You’ve really got to consider the €8million. If it’s there and it’s real, it would be hard not to take it.
“As much as he’s a great player, you don’t want to miss out on €8million because you could go out and replace that striker for four years.”
In other news, a player has told friends he’s joining Rangers as a deal is agreed and a medical is booked.
