'Get it done' - Rangers fans want Nicolas Raskin and teammate sold to pave way for star who wants Ibrox move
Fans have demanded that Rangers get the deal done for Jens Hjerto-Dahl after the midfielder claimed that he would prefer a move to the club over going to Turkey.
Reports have emerged this week that the Gers had submitted a £5.3million bid for the 20-year-old, which has since been rejected by Tromso.
However, it is expected that Rangers go in with a second bid to try to lure the youngster away from the Norwegian club.
After news broke that Hjerto-Dahl would be open to a move to Ibrox, Rangers fans have demanded that the club gets the deal over the line.
The midfielder has emerged as one of the most exciting youngsters in the Eliteserien, and netted five times and picked up two assists before the 2026 World Cup break.
Hjerto-Dahl had looked set to move to Besiktas in the winter window before the move collapsed late on.
Fans tell Rangers to get the deal done for Jens Hjerto-Dahl
Rangers and Derek McInnes have been highly active in the transfer window to date.
The club has brought in five new faces to Ibrox, including the addition of former Hearts captain Lawrence Shankland.
However, if they were to sign Hjerto-Dahl, it would no doubt be one of the biggest deals of the summer in the Scottish Premiership.
The 20-year-old is heavily rated in his homeland and is a regular for Norway’s Under-21 squad.
As a result, many clubs are after the six-foot-four-inch midfielder this summer, but Hjerto-Dahl appears to favour a move to Rangers.
When asked by iTromso about the prospect of a move to Rangers, he replied: "It’s more appealing than going to Turkey."
Therefore, when this news hit Scotland, many Rangers fans took to X demanding that the Gers get a deal over the line.
What other business could Rangers do this summer?
Football Insider has exclusively revealed that Rangers would consider selling Connor Barron if a big offer comes in this summer.
Bologna have been linked with the Scotland international in recent days as they eye summer reinforcements.
Reports suggest that the midfielder is valued between £8m-£10m ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
However, it remains to be seen where Barron will be playing his football in the new season as speculation on his future mounts.
