Marcus Rashford sent Old Trafford ecstatic with two goals in less than three minutes on his Premier League debut.
The 18-year-old Manchester United striker took his tally to an extraordinary four goals in the first two matches of his senior career with a spectacular double against Arsenal on Sunday.
On a fairytale league debut, Rashford put United ahead with a side-footed finish before adding a header just two minutes and 45 seconds later as the home side went 2-0 ahead after 32 minutes.
Former United striker Danny Welbeck pulled one back for the visitors shortly before half-time as the opening period ended with Louis van Gaal’s team 2-1 up.
Rashford, who is a graduate of the United academy, was handed his first league start after Anthony Martial was ruled out with a hamstring injury sustained in midweek.
