Tottenham chairman refuses to talk about 23-year-old – report

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will refuse to pick up the phone to any club that is keen on signing Harry Kane, according to a report.

The Sun claim that the Spurs chief won’t entertain the idea of even speaking to clubs on the phone who are interested in the 23-year-old as Levy remains adamant that the striker isn’t for sale.

The source told the newspaper that no amount of money would make the north London club sell their most valuable asset.

“Any club that wants to bid for Harry, we simply won’t even take the call.

“Harry Kane is not for sale at any price.  We have no interest in selling him or any of our principal players,” the source told the SunSport. “No amount of money would even make Daniel Levy and the board consider their position.”

These reports follow an earlier claim by The Mirror, who reported that Jose Mourinho wanted to bring the England striker to Old Trafford for a staggering £100 million this summer.

Spurs won’t want to part with the vice-captain after the goal-machine was awarded his second consecutive Golden Boot award for his stunning display over the 2016/17 season.

Kane netted played a total of 35 games for Spurs last season and scored a staggering 38 goals.

The England international remains an integral part of Mauricio Pochettino’s side and is being tipped to break Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League record of 260 goals.
