Pedro Caixinha would take a huge step towards catching Old Firm rivals Celtic by raiding Championship side Leeds for veteran goalkeeper Rob Green.
TalkSPORT reporter and commentator Ian Abrahams claimed on his personal Twitter account that sources have revealed to him that Green is allowed to leave Elland Road this summer.
This comes after Leeds signed German goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald from Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen, which has seemingly seen Green reduced to back-up goalkeeper.
Rangers conceded 44 goals in their 38 Scottish Premiership encounters last season, a huge 19 more than Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic and changes need to be made.
It has seen Caixinha bring in defenders Bruno Alves and Fabio Cardoso, but Football Insider believes a new goalkeeper could also be required if the Gers are to challenge the Hoops this time around.
