Kruse has been in exceptional form of late, as he begins to hit the peak of his footballing career towards his late twenties.
Scoring 15 goals last season, Kruse also laid on a further seven assists for his side as they finished in a decent eighth place in Germany’s top flight.
If he is able to replicate that at Tottenham and fight for a place alongside the like of Son Heung-Min, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli, then he could be the missing ingredient needed to win the Premier League.
