Revealed: Arsenal in talks to sign two players and sell six senior stars in transfer blizzard – sources
Arsenal are ready to sell six stars before the window shuts following their £200million signing spree, sources have told Football Insider.
Mikel Arteta has said his 30-man squad is too big and the club want to sell after heavy investment in recent years.
Arsenal are listening to offers for Kieran Tierney, Folarin Balogun, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Rob Holding Nuno Tavares and back-up goalkeeper Matt Turner, who is in talks to join Nottingham Forest.
Arsenal have spent £200m this summer in signing Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber and still want to add another attacking player.
They could also sign another midfielder should Thomas Partey be sold.
Talks are being held over the two potential signings, with Partey expected to go before the window shuts.
Earlier this month (17 July), Football Insider revealed that the Gunners have been preparing a new move for Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia.
Partey has reportedly been close to a move to Saudi Arabia and Arteta’s side are expected to push Liverpool in the race for the 19-year-old.

Partey was an important player in Arteta’s side last summer and still has two years left on his contract at the Emirates.
The Gunners forked out the entirety of the 30-year-old’s £45m release clause to bring him to London in 2020 but he is now one of the players to be shipped to after heavy spending this summer with more deals expected.
In other news, the door has opened for Newcastle to complete deal for Arsenal defender after sit-down talks.
