Revealed: Crystal Palace fume at PSG’s move for Michael Olise

Crystal Palace are not happy with Paris Saint-Germain’s pursuit of Michael Olise, sources have told Football Insider.

PSG sporting director Luis Campos has sounded out Olise’s representatives over a potential move this summer.

However, Palace are determined they will not lose Olise in the same window as Wilfried Zaha in what they see as a potentially catastrophic double blow.

Olise has been a standout performer for Palace this season, and the London club wants to reward his success with a new contract to fend off rival clubs.

The 21-year-old has a contract at Selhurst Park that runs until 2026, but the Eagles are eager to tie him down to a bumper long-term deal.

Palace are believed to be seriously unhappy with PSG for pursuing their player and fear the interest adds a major complication to contract negotiations.

It is understood that the French giants have been keeping tabs on Olise’s progress this season and are weighing up a potential bid going into the summer.

Olise was born in London but represents France at Under-21s level on the international stage, with four caps already to his name.

The Ligue 1 leaders are looking to add rising stars to their ranks this summer and have shortlisted Olise as a top target.

Olise has made a big impact for Palace since signing from Reading in the summer of 2021 for around £8million.

A versatile attacker who can play out wide or in the number eight or number 10 roles, he has supplied 10 assists as well as scored two goals from 35 Premier League appearances this season.
