Revealed: Door opening for Tottenham to sign Bremer, £42.7m will seal deal
Tottenham are growing in confidence that a deal can be struck for Juventus defender Bremer, sources have told Football Insider.
The Financial Fair Play concerns at the Allianz Stadium could open the door for Spurs to prize the 26-year-old away.
The Italian club spent around £43million on the centre-back when they signed him from Torino last summer and are believed to be looking to recoup the money they spent.
Whilst Juventus are keen to keep hold of the Brazilian, their financial situation could mean there is bargaining to be done and Spurs see it as an opportunity to get a deal for Bremer over the line.
On Monday (10 July), Football Insider revealed that the Lilywhites have been considering a move for the defender whose current contract runs until 2027.
Bremer is high on Ange Postecoglou’s wanted list as one of two potential centre-back additions in the coming months.
The Brazil international has been a long-term target for the London club and they were interested in a deal before he made the move to Juventus last summer.
Postecoglou is keen to add a left-sided centre-back to his squad and Bremer is seen as a viable candidate who ticks a lot of boxes.

Bremer made 43 appearances for Massimiliano Allegri’s side across all competitions last season and scored five goals in those outings.
The central defender was in the starting lineup for every match he featured in last term.
