Revealed: Thomas Frank’s expected compensation after Tottenham sacking
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank is under serious pressure following his disappointing spell in north London.
Frank was appointed as Ange Postecoglou’s replacement after Spurs finished 17th in the Premier League table last season.
Tottenham were beaten 2-1 by struggling West Ham on Saturday (17 January), with Callum Wilson grabbing an injury-time winner.
Football Insider revealed on Sunday (18 January) Tottenham are accelerating plans to sack Frank following the defeat to the Hammers.

Thomas Frank to land bigger Tottenham payout than Ange Postecoglou
Tottenham were hoping Frank could build upon last season’s Europa League success under Postecoglou following his arrival from Brentford.
However, that hasn’t proven to be the case, having claimed just 12 victories in his 33 games in charge since joining last summer.
It is believed Tottenham paid Brentford around £10million in compensation to appoint Frank, who signed a contact in north London until June 2028.
Sources have told Football Insider Spurs would have to pay the Dane one year’s salary if they were to sack him over the coming weeks.

Tottenham previously paid Postecoglou around £5m, which was a year’s worth of wages, following his departure last summer.
The Mirror reported on 10 January Frank earns around £8m a year at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, meaning his compensation is expected to be in that sort of range if he loses his job.
Who could replace Frank as Tottenham manager?
As is often the case when a manager is under pressure, there has been plenty of speculation around who could replace Frank.
Football Insider revealed on Sunday Fabian Hurzeler has emerged as a top target for Tottenham following his work at Brighton over the past 18 months.
The 32-year-old led the Seagulls to an eighth-place finish last season, while they currently sit 12th – two places above Spurs – in the Premier League table.

Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino is also believed to be on Tottenham’s shortlist to replace Frank if they decide to make a managerial change.
However, any potential move for their former boss would have to wait until after the World Cup, where the Argentine hopes to lead the USA to a successful tournement.
