Revealed: Tottenham could land £624m windfall – ‘It’s mind-boggling’
Tottenham could theoretically sell their squad for £623.9million, new data seen by Football Insider shows.
Bayern Munich are, according to a report published by eToro and football data site Transfermrkt, the only team in world football to have fared better than Tottenham when it comes to growing the value of their players.
Spurs paid £342.4million for their current squad, which has now almost doubled in value.

Bayern’s squad by comparison set them back £393.4m and is now worth a mammoth £873.4m.
Spurs are one of three Premier League sides in the top 10, the others being North London rivals Arsenal as well as Liverpool.
The Gunners’ squad was purchased for a £466.3m and is now valued at £704.4m, while Liverpool’s has jumped from £622m to £816.7m.
Sam North, Analyst at eToro, commented that “the rise in transfer fees is simply mind-boggling” and has been capitalised on by “expert growth investors.”
The data suggests that Spurs, the most profitable team in Premier League history, fit comfortably into that category.
Per eToro and Transfermarkt’s analysis, Spurs’ most valuable stars are Harry Kane (£80m), Heung-min Son (£62m), and Cristian Romero (£53m).
It is claimed that the Premier League’s ultra-elite standards when it comes to coaching and player development are partly to thank for the value growth.
Managing director Fabio Paratici is said to have modernised Spurs’ recruitment department since his arrival at the club in June 2021, increasing its operating budget in the process.
Their recruitment strategy has been criticised of late, however.

Questions have been asked of the £60m acquisition of Richarlison, who is yet to score a league goal for the club.
Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, Sergio Reguilon, Steven Bergwijn and Bryan Gil meanwhile have all been signed for big fees since 2019 but have either been sold or are out on loan.
