Richarlison among Everton stars embarrassed by one of their teammates v Tottenham – pundit
Alan Hutton has insisted Anthony Gordon was the only Everton player to show enough “fight” or “desire” in Monday’s 5-0 defeat to Tottenham.
The former Scotland defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, ripped into the likes of Richarlison for a lack of work rate in north London.
An own goal from Michael Keane opened the scoring for Spurs after just 14 minutes.

Heung-min Son netted three minutes later before goals from Harry Kane, who netted twice, and Sergio Reguilon wrapped up the win.
Hutton admitted the Everton defence looked terrified of the Lilywhites’ movement.
However, he slammed the entire Toffees team, bar Gordon and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, for their lack of effort.
Discussing the Everton back four, Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “Any sort of movement and they looked all over the place.
“Everton started the game decently. They were okay, moving the ball about, they looked alright. The own goal didn’t help at all.
“The second goal, as good as it was from a Tottenham perspective, from Everton’s point of view it was really poor. A mistake from Pickford compounded that.
“You defend as a team and your back four and your goalkeeper can only keep out so much. You need your midfielders, you need your wingers to track back and work hard, the likes of Richarlison.
“Gordon does it on the other side. Gordon was good, he always looked like a live-wire. He always wanted to get on the ball.
“Calvert-Lewin, just back from injury, it wasn’t his best game so you can give him a little leeway.
“There wasn’t enough fight, enough desire from anybody, out with Gordon, in my opinion.”

Everton currently sit 17th in the Premier League table, one point outside the drop zone.
However, they have games in hand over Burnley, Watford, Norwich, Leeds and Brentford.
In other news, Danny Mills has singled out the big “problem” facing one Everton defender.
