Richarlison swears at Tottenham teammate Pape Sarr as road rage footage emerges

Richarlison has taken to social media to reveal a clip of himself angrily reacting to Tottenham teammate Pape Sarr as the pair were driving.

This has been a difficult season for Spurs, who continue to languish in the bottom half of the Premier League table following their 1-0 defeat at Chelsea on Thursday night (3 April).

That has left Tottenham fans calling for the sacking of manager Ange Postecoglou, who now has the Europa League as his only hope of silverware this season.

Richarlison last featured for Tottenham when he picked up an injury against Liverpool in the League Cup semi final, in what has been another frustrating season for the Brazilian.

Now it seems as though some of his Spurs teammates may have been the target of his frustrations amid his ongoing absence.

Pape Sarr laughs at Richarlison in Instagram video

On Friday (4 April), Richarlison posted a reel on his Instagram page that appeared to have been filmed by Sarr.

The clip shows the Tottenham striker getting out of his car while waiting at a junction, before shouting and swearing and banging the front of Sarr’s vehicle.

The midfielder had been occupying the car behind him, and had blown his horn at him.

A flip of the screen then shows the midfielder laughing at his teammate, and it appears Richarlison also later saw the funny side.

The striker captioned the video “Tag your friend who has no patience in traffic!!!” before adding some laughing emojis and tagging Sarr.

On the pitch, Tottenham are next in action on Sunday (6 April), when the Premier League’s bottom side Southampton make the trip to North London.

Football Insider Verdict

It is unclear whether this is a reel that has just been filmed, or was taken some time ago and only just posted now.

Either way, with so many Tottenham fans understandably and visibly furious at their performance against Chelsea, this video emerging now is unlikely to go down well.

This could be seen as players not taking the dismal situation the club are in seriously, given the way they are laughing and joking after such a poor result and performance against a local rival.

Richarlison has been touted for a return to Everton in the summer, and when you combine things like this with his struggles for form and fitness, some Tottenham may not be too worried if that move happens.
