Rio Ferdinand makes huge claim about Tottenham 21-year-old

England great Rio Ferdinand has claimed Tottenham star Dele Alli is currently the best young footballer in Euorpe.
The 21-year-old has been in great form for Spurs this season and is currently helping Mauricio Pochettino’s side battle with Chelsea at the top of the Premier League table.
But, the world of football is glittered with young talent and on Wednesday former Tottenham man Glenn Hoddle claimed that reported target Kylian Mbappe was the biggest prospect in Europe.
Ferdinand would however seem to disagree with this view and while naming his Premier League team of the week, which contained both Alli and Son Heung-min he hailed the England international as the best youngster in European football.
“Playing from the left side, but joining the attack quickly as he does, Dele Alli,” started Ferdinand speaking on his YouTube channel.

“The best young footballer in Europe right now. 16 Premier League goals this season.”
Alli was brought in by Tottenham in the 2015 winter window for just £5million from MK Dons with the future in mind.
Now, he has already paid back that fee and more and he has returned with a stunning 16 goals and six assists in 30 league outings this season.
He is currently contracted to Tottenham until 2022 and despite being continuously linked to European super clubs like Real Madrid, fans will be hoping he continues to star in north London for years to come.
