By Dominic Toner
Robbie Savage has predicted Tottenham to draw with Southampton in their Premier League clash on Sunday.
Spurs welcome Southampton to White Hart Lane for an important league fixtures as both sides look to continue their good form.
Mauricio Pochettino’s team are unbeaten in their last five games across all competitions and have the opportunity to strengthen their grip on second in the table.
Meanwhile, Claude Puel’s side have won their last two away matches in the league and have star forward Manolo Gabbiadini in great form.
Savage has tipped a 2-2 draw between Spurs and Southampton on Sunday, as cited by William Hill”s official Twitter account.
Spurs dominated the previous meeting with Southampton this season as they cruised to a 4-1 victory.
However, the north London club are without talisman Harry Kane at the weekend as he is sidelined with an ankle injury.
Pochettino is likely to turn to Heung-Min Son to lead the line, instead, but also has Vincent Janssen at his disposal.
They managed to cruise past Millwall 6-0 in the FA Cup quarter-finals after losing Kane in the early stages and proved they do have strength in their squad.
Spurs will move nine points clear of London rivals Arsenal with a victory, but more importantly will strengthen their position in the top four as they bid for Champions League qualification.
In other Tottenham news, Pochettino claimed that the club’s 22-year-old needed a wake-up call.
