Robinson issues ‘big’ Coleman claim after horror Everton reveal
Paul Robinson is adamant Seamus Coleman still has “a big part to play” at Everton despite his performance at Brentford.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one said the 33-year-old is not past it “by any stretch of the imagination”.
Coleman was one of a number of Toffees star who struggled in Sunday’s 1-0 loss at the Brentford Community Stadium.

The defeat leaves Rafael Benitez’s side 14th in the Premier League and winless in their last seven Premier League fixtures.
When asked by Football Insider for his assessment of Coleman’s form, Robinson said: “Injuries have really hampered him.
“I still think he has got a big role to play at Everton. I do not believe he is past it by any stretch of the imagination. He can still produce top performances.
“I do think Everton missed out in the summer though. They should have signed another right-back to give them strength in depth.
“Under Benitez, they are flattering to deceive. They started well but performances have not been good enough of late.
“Right now, they are no better off than they have been over the past six or seven seasons.”

Coleman has made 10 appearances across all competitions for the Toffees this season.
He has 18 months left on the two-year contract he penned at Goodison Park in the summer.
