‘Outstanding talent’ – Paul Robinson in awe of 1-app Liverpool gem, tips him to be 2020 regular

Paul Robinson has tipped Harry Wilson to be the next breakthrough player at Liverpool.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-England goalkeeper claimed an Anfield rising star who did not feature in last night’s 5-0 League Cup mauling by Aston Villa will be the next youngster to be a first team regular.

Wilson is on loan at Bournemouth this season and has made a big impression following two loans at Championship teams, Derby County and Hull City.

Robinson is getting excited about the talent of the 22-year-old product of Liverpool’s academy.

Asked by Football Insider which Liverpool player is the one to watch out for, Robinson said: “Harry Wilson, who’s out on loan at Bournemouth. I think he’s an outstanding young talent. We’ve seen him score goals, we’ve seen him get assists, playing in the Premier League it shows you the level he is at, that he can go out on loan to a Premier League club and play, demand his game time.

“His free-kick taking ability is excellent and for someone so young. At a team like Liverpool and Chelsea, and other teams that have got such big academies and players out on loan, players generally don’t get an opportunity to come back into the first team at
their parent club.

“I think he will be different, he will come back into Liverpool next year and he’ll get regular game time.”

Wilson has scored six goals in 14 Premier League matches for Bournemouth this season.

The wide attacker has only played once for the senior Liverpool side, but is proving himself in the English top flight after previously scoring and creating prolifically in the Championship at Derby and Hull.

In other Liverpool news, it can be REVEALED that the club are working on another blockbuster deal after blizzard of agreements.
