Paul Robinson is in awe of West Ham target Mislav Orsic having “watched his showreel”.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Tottenham and England goalkeeper heaped praise on the “fantastic” 28-year-old who clearly has “an abundance of talent”.
Football Insider revealed on Friday that West Ham have made contact with Zagreb over a potential summer deal.
Orsic has contributed a remarkable 19 goals and eight assists in 36 matches across all competitions this season.
Three of those goals came against Spurs earlier this month, as he single-handedly knocked Jose Mourinho’s side out of the Europa League.
Robinson suggested a number of Premier League clubs are interested in the winger in light of his Europe League heroics.
“His shooting ability was there for all to see,” he told Football Insider. “I mean wow, he scored some fantastic goals.
“He is not a player we know a lot about in England given that he’s playing for Dinamo Zagreb but those goals showed you a lot. I watched his showreel after that and I was impressed.
“Jose had shown his players and told his players about the danger he possessed. He spoke very openly about showing the players numerous times on videos what Orsic can do but they didn’t do anything about it.
“He is clearly a player with an abundance of talent and with an eye for goal.
“He used that stage to put himself in the thoughts of Premier League teams.”
