Ruben Amorim about to make grave mistake with ‘special’ player, Man United boss has already been warned
Ruben Amorim has been heavily questioned at Old Trafford as the Man United manager approaches 50 games in charge.
Mick Brown revealed to Football Insider that Fabian Hurzeler is being considered by Man United as a replacement already, with the current manager winning just 19 of his 49 games in the dugout.
The Red Devils are currently sitting 14th in the Premier League table after six games, having only claimed wins over Burnley and Chelsea, and returning to losing ways in a 3-1 away loss to Brentford.
While Benjamin Sesko scored his first goal in Man United colours, there was a distinct lack of leadership on the pitch, and Amorim has already addressed that in his press conferences.

Ruben Amorim cries out for more leaders at Man United
Bruno Fernandes’ captaincy has already been questioned, and after missing a penalty and potentially being lucky to avoid a red card against the Bees, a change could be coming at Old Trafford.
Speaking in a press conference, the manager said: “It’s not just the leaders, we need leaders, but sometimes what I’m thinking is we miss some crazy guys, you know?”
He certainly raises a good point, with players needed to wear their hearts on their sleeves while also knowing when to use their relationship with the referees to their advantage.

Having gone on to suggest that Matheus Cunha could be one of these players, Amorim is right on the verge of making a huge error, which could cost United several times in the future.
Vitor Pereira already raised concerns over Matheus Cunha’s leadership skills
Nobody can deny that Cunha was extremely hot-headed during his time with Wolves, picking up 13 yellows and one red in 92 games, and also being suspended for two different incidents.
His former manager, Vitor Pereira, previously dubbed him a “special player” [FotMob], but he was also aware of the star’s shortcomings when it came to being a leader for the Old Gold.
Pereira was hugely critical of the player’s body language after Wolves lost to Chelsea back in January, expecting more from the captain after he exited the field without thanking the supporters.
Amorim has been given plenty of warning about why Cunha should not be trusted with the captain’s armband, but given the lack of current leadership, he may feel he has no choice over the matter.
