‘Ruben Amorim is ruining Man United’ -fans erupt at Paul Scholes reveal

Man United fans are concerned about Ruben Amorim’s coaching methods after club legend Paul Scholes discussed what he has seen.

During the latest fan debate on The Overlap Scholes said, “I’ve watched the warm-up funnily enough and they’re actually doing tea shape in the warm-up, they’ve got the back five and they’re in and they’re out, there’s a ball coming over them and they’re heading it.

“They even started doing set pieces in front of everyone, defending set pieces. Come on, it’s the warm-up, you want to get your touch right, you want to enjoy it, you want to enjoy the ball, get a kick of the ball.

“Everything is so into the tactical side of stuff, my head would be fried, I’m not sure I’d be able to play a game.”

United sit 13th in the Premier League table despite the pre-match warm-ups, and have conceded 34 goals in 24 games this season.

The 20-time champions have won just four of the 13 Premier League fixtures that Amorim has been in charge of, drawing two and losing seven.

Man United fans are worried about Ruben Amorim’s coaching methods

Scholes isn’t the only person worried about the tactical choices Amorim is making as fans have also expressed their concerns.

Supporters have claimed the “fun of the sport is forgotten,” while others stated the warm-ups could be causing “brain fatigue.”
