Ruben Amorim told ‘bomb Marcus Rashford out’ after ‘Man United statement’
Man United boss Ruben Amorim has been slammed for his “out of order” comments on Marcus Rashford’s position at the club.
Mick Brown, who spent over a decade at Old Trafford during their most successful period and remains very well-connected there, exclusively told Football Insider that the manager’s latest comments are doing no good for himself, the player or the club.
This comes after his outburst following the win against Fulham when he stated he would start the goalkeeping coach ahead of a player who was not fully committed.
“It’s always the same reason: the training, the way I see a footballer should do in life. It’s every day, every detail,” he ranted, “If things don’t change, I will not change.

Rashford, 27, is widely expected to leave Old Trafford after his public falling-out with the manager, but Amorim has now been urged to express his concerns in private rather than to the media.
The winger’s performances and attitude behind the scenes will be dealt with by the club regardless of making issues a public talking point – which does nobody any favours.
Ruben Amorim slammed after controversial Marcus Rashford claim at Man United
The manager’s heavy criticism of the United academy product in recent weeks has split opinion amongst fans, but his latest comments were branded “disrespectful”.
Brown, who worked closely with legendary managers Sir Alex Ferguson and Ron Atkinson during his time at Man United, insisted that Amorim “makes statements he is better off not making” and urged him to deal with Rashford privately.
“He’s come out with this thing about Rashford,” he told Football Insider.
“If that’s what he’s decided is the case, then just do it. You don’t have to keep talking about it.
“He makes some statements he’s better off not making.
“If Rashford has been such a destructive influence, just bomb him out.
“Don’t come out with all these statements and stuff in the media. There’s no need. It comes across as unnecessary and disrespectful.
“Obviously if Rashford isn’t doing what he should be doing, then fine, he’ll be treated accordingly.
“But the bit about playing the goalkeeping coach ahead of him is out of order.
“That’s not going to do anybody any good. It doesn’t help Amorim, it certainly doesn’t help Rashford, and all it does is add to the talk around them.

“He’s given statements like that and it gets brushed under the carpet, but if anybody else said something like that there would be questions asked.”
