‘Ruben Amorim will quit Man United’ after chairman’s Sky Sport reveal – fans rage
Man United supporters believe that Ruben Amorim will quit the football club after not being backed during the January transfer window.
The Premier League giants missed out on one of their top targets Mathys Tel, as the 19-year-old winger joined Tottenham on a loan deal with a permanent option in the summer.
It had been reported by Sky Sports News that United passed up on Tel because they couldn’t get a permanent option included in the deal, but Spurs managed to achieve just that.
The 20-time champions have only signed Patrick Dorgu and Ayden Heaven during the mid-season window, with Peterborough chairman Darragh MaAnthony claiming on Sky Sports that Amorim is disappointed with it.
United currently sit 13th in the Premier League table after an underwhelming first half of the campaign that has seen the club win just eight games.
