Ruben Dias: Mills issues ‘big’ Man City v Man United prediction after crushing injury blow
Danny Mills has tipped Man City to beat Man United 3-1 in Sunday’s (6 March) derby game.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-City and England full-back admitted Man United could cause Pep Guardiola’s side major issues if they are all at the very top of their game.
As quoted by the Manchester Evening News today (4 March), Guardiola revealed he will be without Ruben Dias and Nathan Ake for the visit of United.

But Mills has insisted John Stones and Aymeric Laporte are a more than adequate partnership and the game will be won and lost in the midfield area.
He told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “I think it’s a really intriguing game.
“City were fortunate against Everton to pick up all three points and lost the week before that.
“But City at home expect to dominate possession. On the face of it, I look at it and think, City win 3-1.
“Saying that, Man United have some really good players and big-game players. There is a chance that those players will raise their game for this match. We’ve seen it before, the likes of Pogba raising their game against City.
“They have the potential to cause Man City a big upset if they are all at it and if they have a little bit of cohesion and are organised. That’s a big if looking at this Man United.
“If they turn up and want to play in this game then they can make it very, very difficult for Man City.

“Guardiola has got Laporte and Stones even though Dias and Ake aren’t available. They still have good enough options.
“Then you look at the midfield area and the options they have, they will look to dominate the ball and starve Man United of possesion.”
