Ryan Gravenberch sends two-word Liverpool message after his Spurs masterclass

Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch took to social media to send a message to the fans after their 4-0 League Cup win over Tottenham on Thursday (February 6).

The 22-year-old Player of the Year contender played the full 90 minutes and delivered yet another masterclass as Liverpool came back from a 1-0 deficit in the first leg to earn a place in the final.

Gody Gakpo opened the scoring in the 34th minute before talismanic forward Mohamed Salah doubled Liverpool’s lead from the penalty spot just after half-time.

Tottenham goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky took out Darwin Nunez, giving Salah the perfect opportunity to score, an incident that left many Spurs fans raging.

Dominik Szoboszlai capped off a fine performance with a goal to make it 3-0 in the 75th minute before captain Virgil van Dijk rounded off the scoring five minutes later.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former PGMOL chief and ex-FIFA official Keith Hackett believes Van Dijk could have seen red for an incident with Richarlison earlier in the game.
