Ryan Jack reveals he's spoken to 25-year-old midfielder reportedly eyed by Rangers

Midfielder Ryan Jack has revealed he has spoken to former Aberdeen teammate and reported Rangers target Kenny McLean.
The Scottish Sun reported on Monday that the Gers would step up their pursuit of the 25-year-old Dons midfielder and Hearts’ Jamie Walker after receiving £1million from English Championship club Ipswich through the sale of Martyn Waghorn.
The Ibrox giants have of course already purchased from Aberdeen this summer after Derek McInnes’ side finished in second place in the last campaign with Jack joining at the end of his contract.
Now, the midfielder could be important in helping Rangers secure McLean and while he refused to give too many details away in Tuesday’s press conference, as quoted by the official Twitter account, Jack did say he has spoken to him.

McLean has been at Aberdeen for just over two years after joining from St. Mirren for a fee of £300,000 in February 2015.

He has since earned one cap for the senior Scotland national team alongside playing 116 times for the Dons, scoring 14 goals and providing 12 assists.
The midfielder has just one-year remaining on his contract at the club and Aberdeen may look to sell him to avoid a similar situation which saw them lose Jack for nothing.
